seasonally adjusted IHS Markit final U.S. Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’
Index™
(PMI™)
registered 55.3 in February, down slightly from 55.5 in January. Although below
January’s 34-month high,
the overall improvement in operating conditions across the manufacturing sector
was one of the
strongest recorded since late-2014.
